Tarvold's Bio

Born in Northumbria, Tarvold was from a long line of sturdy Viking stock, working on ships, mastering axe wielding techniques and learning battle strategy before he could grow a beard. Tarvold quickly gained notoriety as one of the most feared and notorious Vikings for his battle and plundering prowess. His childhood friend, Thorfinn Skull-Splitter, became jealous of Tarvold's fame and convinced Tarvold to steal from the treasure of Vali, the Norse God of Revenge. Tarvold, betrayed by Thorfinn, was caught with Vali's gold, and as punishment for his deed was forced to sail the seas doing Vali's bidding. Tarvold is driven to repay his debt quickly in order to return to his beloved wife, Anora. Throughout his conquests, Tarvold must stay one step ahead of Thorfinn who is determined to thwart Tarvold's progress and take Anora for himself.
